- Hi, my name is Eli. I was born on March 4, 2007. I was born with many medical complications including down syndrome, a hole in my heart, breathing complications, etc. Soon after I was born, I had to have a trachea put in. I lived the first many weeks of my life in the hospital. Finally, I got to go home and live with my incredible parents- I had the best Daddy and Mommy in the world! Unfortunately, on February 19, 2009, I pulled the trachea out in my sleep and passed away. I am now an angel in Heaven and live with my Heavenly Father. I am now completely healthy and whole. Eli was precious. Words can not express how sorry I am for ya'll. I know you must be in so much pain right now. I will be praying for your family and lifting you up that God will give you comfort and peace.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful tribute to Eli, Amy. I know the family is honored that you have created such a beautiful remembrance of him. Like I said when we talked today and last night, Eli is not truly dead- he lives with his father in heaven. He is alive and well, rejoicing in the spirit of his Saviour and Lord. Scripturre says we will dance in the Lord's presence for an eternity and it will feel like only a minute has passed. Eli is very content and happy in his new home- Jesus is His father who will watch over him until Jeana and Stanley can be reunited with him. : )

I can tell from the pictures that he was unconditionally loved by his entire family, and I know he is feeling even more love now! ReplyDeleteWe love and miss you so much, sweet baby! We are so incredibly thankful for the time we got to spend with you here on earth, and can't wait to be reunited with you one day in Heaven. We know that you are wrapped up in your Heavenly Father’s arms right now, we know that you do not have a trachea, cords or feeding tube anymore; we know that you can run and jump and play freely now; we know that you are safe, happy and at peace in Heaven- those thoughts give us comfort. What seems like such a long time to us until we can see you again is only going to be a split second for you. When you blink, your Daddy and Mommy, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and cousins will be with you again. Can’t wait… We love you, Eli!

ReplyDeleteWe heard the news just the other day and were devistated. We had such a good time getting to know you and your beautiful Eli while we were in Tulsa. Not a day has passed since that we don't think of Eli, and pray for you and your family. He touched so many people in his the short time he was with us and we're proud to have had the honor to be part of that. May God continue to confort you in this difficult time, and although it's impossible to understand why, our prayer is that He also brings you peace and assurance that His will is at work in all things. We love you and hope to see you soon.
