Eli and Family...

God choose Stanley and Jeana to be Eli's parents. He entrusted them to take care of His precious child, Eli. God is looking down on them with such pride and love for doing such an amazing job. They will one day soon receive many beautiful jewels in their crowns for the wonderful parents that they are.

  1. Dear Family of Eli,
I posted thi son Amy's blog, but thought that I would here too.
I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot even begin to imagine the gamut of feelings that you and your family are going through. The passing of a loved one is always hard, but even moreso when it is a child.
All I can offer, and I wish there were more, is my prayers. I pray you have faith in the creator who has a divine plan, far greater than we can even begin to conceive.
I do know that sweet Eli is in the hands of HIS Father, made anew and bathed in the love of God. I know that he will be a fierce guardian angel for his fmaily...and for all that knew and loved him, will live on through them. Their love for him will be reflected in the way you all live your lives.
Two weeks ago, this week, I lost a friend of mine (my friends husband). I told his wife last night, that without even knowing, that the way she is getting through the pain of the loss, by her faith and giving glory to God at this hard time will be her testiment to others. She may not ever even know it, but it is a powerful way to witness to others, By living and honoring those that live on in us.
You and your family are in my prayers.

I hope that you will find these verses a light in a dark & difficult time. For they are the words of God.

    In Christ,

    1 Peter 5:6-7
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

    1 Peter 1:3-9
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith the salvation of your souls.

    2 Corinthians 12:9-10
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

    2 Corinthians 4:13-16
It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

    2 Corinthians 1:3-5
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

    Matthew 11:25-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

    John 6:39-40
And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

    John 14:1-4
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God[; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.

    John 14:27

  4. Jeana and Stanley,
When I heard of Eli's passing away I was so sad for the two of you. It was so apparant how much you loved him and this must be so hard on you. You made Eli's time here on earth happier and richer because of the way that you cared for him. We will miss him so much. Eli is now in heaven being cared for by angels. You were both Eli's Angels here on earth. We were so blessed to have Eli in our lives and we thank him for all of the very important lessons he taught us in very short time.
I love you too and am praying for you. I pray that you find peace in your hearts and with the Lord.
